CDS particularly specialise in cleaning and maintaining children’s play areas for the public and private sector. Private sports facilities, public play areas and especially County Council funded schools are investing heavily in soft wet pour play areas not only for their superior Health & Safety properties but also the fact that they lend themselves with imprinted patterns and activities to a more educational based play experience. Furthermore the potentially brightly coloured nature of wet pour makes it aesthetically pleasing and a bright and vibrant addition to any playground area.
Although expensive to install few are regularly cleaned and maintained as often as is perhaps advisable to maintain their vibrancy and anti-slip properties
CDS are able to offer one off or twice yearly contractual cleans to playground sites. Depending upon the condition of the wet pour, included in our quotations is a pre-treatment of fungicidal wash, proven to kill initial surface growth and residual dislodged spores of moss and lichen. Power washing will eradicate any of the green discolouration and fading caused by lichen and algae growth as well as removing any stains caused by spillages on its surface.
Any additional dirt residue cleaned from the wet pour or hard surface school areas can be sucked off the cleaned surface during cleaning with our high suction equipment, bagged and removed off site.
As CDS have regularly carried out works for Nottinghamshire County Council directly on school sites, we consider ourselves to be specialist in offering a one-stop cleansing service in this particular niche market.
As we are an approved contractor working within schools throughout the county we have completed numerous large scale chewing Gum removal projects at comprehensive school sites as well as offering additional external school cleansing services including drain clearing, graffiti removal, canopy cleaning, gutter cleaning, play equipment and soft wet pour cleaning.
Any playground surface including decking, block paving, walls & slabs can all be returned to their original vibrancy using our industry standard equipment.
